Social Appearance Anxiety Scale (SAAS) and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale's Self-Worth (RSES-SW) sub-dimension were used in the control session (first month) before and after mesotherapy application in this research. It was used number, percentage, mean, standard deviation for descriptive statistics; Paired Sample t-Test was used to analyze the difference between the scale mean scores between two dependent groups. The relationship between the scale mean scores was determined by spearman correlation analysis. 84.7% of the women had skin mesotherapy and 15.3% had hair mesotherapy. It was determined that women had mesotherapy most frequently due to wrinkles (39.0%), dark circles under the eyes (20.3%) and hair loss (15.3%). The mean SAAS score of women before application of mesotherapy was 37.0±13.2, and 30.6±9.2 after application, and a significant difference was determined between the mean SAAS scores before and after application (Z=-4.54, p<0.01). The mean RSES-SW score of women before application of mesotherapy was 0.88±0.58, and 0.70±0.45 after application, and a significant difference was found between the mean scores of RSES-SW before and after application (Z= -2.37, p=0.01). A positive correlation was determined between women's SAAS mean score and RSES-SW mean score both before and after mesotherapy (before mesotherapy r= 0.34, p<0.01; after mesotherapy r= 0.32, p=0.01). It was determined that mesotherapy application decreased social appearance anxiety and increased self-esteem in women; it was determined that as social appearance anxiety decreased self-esteem increased after mesotherapy.
