THE HOSPITAL SETTING IS AN ADVERSITY SITUATION FOR CHILDREN: A SISTEMATIC REVIEW
 
Background/Aim: There are a lot of reasons for hospitalisation children. This overview has highlighted the need to extend for resilience, well-being and coping strategies program in the hospital. The aim of this review is to provide an overview of the current literature regarding the Resilience, Well-being and Coping Strategies Program is an Adversity Situation for Children in the Hospital. Methods: This review was guided by the PRISMA standards for systematic review. It searched the following electronic databases: Medline (OVID), Web of Science, PUBMED, PsychInfo. The terms of association for Resilience were determined to use with Resilience Framework. The final research of peer-reviewed literature, yielded the following results: OVID Medline (n=173), Web of Science (n=153), PUBMED (n=69), PsychInfo (n=141). Data were extracted by one reviewer and checked by a second reviewer. A quality score was calculated for each of the six domains. Domain scores were calculated by summing all the scores of items. Results and Conclusions: The search in electronic databases identified 536 records (see Figure 1). In total, 32 studies were screened in full to determine whether they fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Twelve studies fulfilled our inclusion criteria. The 12 studies, 4 randomized controlled trial studies, 5 pre and post intervention studies 2 post intervention study and 1 qualitative study reviewed from 5 countries: USA, Norway, Australia, Korea and Hong Kong.
